Overview:
Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Engineering team to help us create test automation where needed. Quality is a very important part of work, and we want someone with a passion for testing software applications to be part of our team.
This position may be available for conversion to full time employment upon successful evaluation of performance. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, eclectic environment of talented professionals who are leading the industry in digital capabilities.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will help identify tools, frameworks, design patterns and processes for automation of applications to help us accelerate new feature testing as well as regression test cycles. Will need to work with development teams to provide top QA testing for applications, troubleshoot and resolve reported issues related to the automation system. Person will need to collaborate with diverse project members. We are looking for someone who is passionate about automation and is willing to learn the construct of our business systems and work with the Sr. QA and Lead QA engineers as a solid team member.
Basic Qualifications:
· 2+ years as Software Automation Engineer
· Knowledge of API testing
· API/Rest testing frameworks and tools such as Postman, Swagger
· Cucumber, SoapUI
· Exposure to Quality tracking tools such as HP QC
· Java programming knowledge (for test automation) is a big plus.
· Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
