Title: QA Analyst - NASCO/Claims
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Multi Years Contract
Scope of Position:
QA Analyst III will review and analyze business, functional and technical specification documents to develop test scenarios and test cases for a medium to large complexity project. He or she will also be responsible for test case execution, identifying and reporting defects/issues. This position requires working with Test Lead to support testing objectives and report daily execution status. This position also requires supporting Test Lead in coordinating among IT, business and project teams.

Strong Knowledge of NASCO Applications – HIQK, HEHK, HRBK, HRRK, HURK
Good knowledge of medical claims benefits processing
Develop and execute Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts based on the business and system requirements.
Perform Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using manual test methodologies and automated test tools.
Good knowledge of Medical, Dental, Vision & Hearing benefits
Strong experience in BFM/BFAST
Working knowledge of SharePoint
Experience with membership/eligibility
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Access and Word.
Testing experience (knowledge) will be needed:
Ability to create test plans and test headers according to the requirements (as they will be changing from group to group)
Ability to test NGI/NSI (new group implementations / new segment implementations)
Ability to understand SERs (small enhancement requests) and create test plans according to the requirements and add negative scenarios for the headers created and perform testing
Ability to work on AUTISM claims which needs more attention as we will need to create authorizations
Ability to work on Online visits and online behavioral health claims
Ability to do the required documentation work (Fill out forms) needed to send request for Blue card and ITS claims
Ability to understand different Cost share methods and create test headers and do the testing accordingly (very important)
Ability to understand the BDDs for new groups and change the test plans and test headers accordingly
Ability to know what diagnosis codes, procedure codes and modifiers are to be used while testing the claims
Certifications & Educational Background:
ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification will be an added bonus
Bachelor's degree in a related field will be an added bonus
