Job Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in computer science or related field and a few years of professional software development experience
Skills as a full-stack software developer with proficiency in microservice development and modern front-end web development
Experience working with large datasets (even better if you’ve already worked with image data)
Experience with Python frameworks like Flask or Django and libraries such as OpenCV.
Proficient in SQL (even better if you’ve also worked with Cassandra or MongoDB)
Experience hacking around in Linux and Unix systems.
You should be comfortable on the command-line and have a quick answer to the vi/Emacs question.
Proficient with web development including a JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.js
Experience with AWS or other cloud platform
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - frequent collaboration will be important in this role
Experience with application containerization using Docker
We will work across the global agriculture value chain to create a more efficient food system.
