Position : Project Manager
Location : New York,NY
Duration : 24 Months Contract
Interview-Type-Requested : In-Person

SCOPE OF SERVICES :
Responsibilities:
Managing and controlling the personnel and projects required to successfully implement and maintain computer systems.
Directs scheduling, technical direction, planning and standard development practices groups.
Develops and meets project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Other tasks include: perform hardware/software evaluation: analyze and recommend appropriate strategies; perform administrative functions: adhere to an established System Development Methodologies (SDM); familiarization with software engineering tools and techniques (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.

Job Description :
PMP certification is desirable.
Sound understanding of technical issues, outstanding planning, scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills.
Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential
A minimum of 10 years of technical leadership and shown success in directing and fostering highly technical teams
Wide technical knowledge base across systems, storage, network, IT security
Technical Experience in VMWare Support, Primavera Unifier and DR Support
IT Operations and maintain project Automation Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan etc.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
IT Staff management with the ability to seamlessly lead a variety of projects simultaneously
Extraordinary customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups at various levels of the MTA
Knowledgeable on future industry trends across the various disciplines
Demonstrated ability to conduct large scale project management across multiple regions and disciplines
