We are currently hiring Project Manager for our direct customer in the IT based out of Bethesda, MD for a contract position.

Job Description:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
Provide internal support and scalability for our continuously evolving environments.
Work with development and release management teams across time zones
Drive alignment with engineering and business teams to align product launch requirements and quality execution
Coordinate shipment of software across DevOps and Engineering teams and define code branching strategies and implications on product release cycles
Implement best practice processes (milestone tracking, risk assessment, etc for releasing products on time working with local release management representative across locations
Ensures adherence of performance and security SLAs while meeting all regulatory and internal compliance controls to minimize company risk.
Set and manage release support expectations ensuring all applicable groups are engaged in the release planning and execution
Execution of deployment plan within defined windows, ensuring issues are identified and resolved, working with IT Engineering to identify and resolve incidents.
Conduct post-release support ensuring lessons learned and metrics are gathered and communicated.
Off-Peak hours and weekend work required (25% Consideration will also be given to off-shore candidates that could execute on an peak/off-peak cycle.
