The Program Manager-Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management is a highly desirable leadership team position within the Department of Diagnostic Imaging where the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, improving and directing the department''s overall Quality Improvement Program and ensuring alignment with and integration into the Institutional Quality Management Program to support the organization''s strategic direction.
The ideal candidate :
Has a clinical background ( RN, Radiologic Technologists etc with direct experience in Medical Imaging, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Process Improvement, and Peer Review;
Is a proactive, experienced leader with excellent communication, presentation and organization skills
Has the appropriate information technology experience including data mining as well as PACS, RIS and HIS (Cerner) proficiency
Minimum Education
Bachelor''s degree in Health Services Administration, Quality Management, Operation Analysis or related field required
Master''s degree preferred. Clinical experience as a registered nurse, radiologic technologist or other clinical work experience required
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of related experience required that includes at least two (2) years of Quality Management experience. Experience in a Radiology setting preferred
