Power BI Developer
Have at least 3 years of industry experience in Power BI dashboard/report development.
Experience of creating Power BI dashboards with different RDBMS (SQL, Oracle) & Google Cloud platform (BigQuery)
Experience of respective domain knowledge will be an added advantage
Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
Familiarity with BI technologies
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
Strong Visual Story telling / Data Visualization skills.
Experience in interpreting customer business needs and translate those needs into technical specifications
Experience in delivering artifacts such as dashboards and reporting components
Experience in dealing with senior member of the business units (within the organization) and product owners
Experience in SDLC with emphasis on specifying, building, and testing mission critical business applications
Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
Design, build and deploy BI solutions
Create visualizations and reports as required
Build KPI Dashboards
Act as a strategic partner between the business community and IT development teams to resolve functional and technical issues related to business applications
Write user stories as part of an Agile project framework that:
o directly support primary objectives of the project,
o are appropriate in size for iterative development
o include clear and specific acceptance criteria
o take into account dependencies on other stories and/or projects & initiatives
Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
Identify gaps between the current deployment of applications and future requirements. Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions
Coordinate and assist with UAT testing with business stakeholders to ensure the product meets their business needs
