This opportunity is initially a 6 month contracting position; after the contacting period our client intends to offer the consultant full time employment. In addition, for the right candidate, our client is open to hiring the candidate as a full time employee day-one
Job Description
NOTE: Candidates must be permanent US residents to be considered for this position.
Candidates have the option of working 2 days on-site and 3 days remotely on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
5 or more years of full stack .NET web application development; including experience developing applications using C#, Visual Studio.NET, MS SQL Server, Source Control, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Sass, JavaScript, and Angular.
Experience with the following technology tools is preferred: Consuming REST API, git. Team Services and Type Script.
Strong experience with full SDLC projects in Waterfall and Agile environments.
Ability to exercise version control discipline for software releases and maintain all source code.
Strong relationship building skills, requirements elicitation skills, and the ability to interact and work effectively with all levels of personnel from senior executive management to high level technical resources and business stakeholders.
Must be proactive, flexible and able to adapt quickly; and take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done while keeping long term business strategic objectives in mind.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as a team member and with minimal supervision to deliver a quality software product on time and on budget.
Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic; and possess very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
Bachelor’s degree is required.
