Requirements:
Connection point to broader IT organization
Provides guidance on the best fit technology across the automation spectrum
Investigates emerging technologies in the automation domain
Ensures close collaboration with IT Security to standards, governance and compliance
Supports Program Manager with Business & IT alignment
Attends and provide technical guidance to Architecture Review team
Improves release process
Evaluates opportunities and/or roadmap for Dev Ops
Drives consistent metrics collection and reporting
Works to grow the Federated model
Enables BOT value retention / business value realization
Consults on technical components needed for the robots to run
Escalates L2 & L3 support issues as needed
Deliverables:
Establishes & drives development standards, reuse and best practices
Establishes standard architecture and repeatable design patterns
Drives Configuration Management best practices
Oversees design & code review processes; Design/Code review approval
Responsible for developer training, enablement & coaching (COE delivery)
Facilitates Developer Forum & Interaction
Monthly development metrics
Tracks Object/Asset tracking (reusable assets /grading approach)
Risk & Opportunity management
Escalation management
Federated model – technical review, enablement, coaching, code/design reviews
Partners with COE for technical roadmap development
