Job Title: PL/SQL Developer
Contract: Length: 6+ Months
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE)
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Migrate existing PL/SQL and Informatica production ETL processes to Oracle 12c environments
- Troubleshoot ETL issues / problems and communicate solutions/resolutions to the team
- Map database sources to specified data types and objects
- Translate concepts to requirements/design then develop code, then administer testing and deploy into a production
process
- Complete development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Follow "Best Practices" in Oracle PL/SQL database application development
- Optimize production processes by suggesting improvements/enhancements
- Record daily hours of development activities in the Data Management Resource Management System
Position Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Data mart design with Oracle 10g/11g/12c databases
- 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL development
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing schema(s) design
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse Extract, Transform, and Load concepts
- Experience with ETL production operations and maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or 5 years of related work experience.
Desired, not required:
- Experience with MS SQL Server: T-SQL; SSIS; Jobs Management
- Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools
- Experience with Data Modeler Tools
