Job description:
The Pega System Architect position will provide technical oversight and implementation of Pegasystems solutions, which includes
Supporting Inception and Elaboration to ensure optimal solution architecture and design
Directing and overseeing technical teams in Construction of the designed solution
Developing custom systems integration solution components as dictated by business requirements Managing systems Validation and defect resolution efforts.
Essential Job Functions:
The Pegasystems System Architect is responsible for technical oversight and implementation of Pegasystems solutions This includes
Supporting Inception and Elaboration to ensure optimal solution architecture and design,
Directing and overseeing technical teams in Construction of the designed solution,
Developing custom systems integration solution components as dictated by business requirements
Manage and ensure quality standards of Pega implementations.
Meeting and Managing engagement with Enterprise Architects.
Responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega
Estimate and Size the requirements for Pega implementation; highlight dependencies for the solution on other applications.
Lead the discussions and initiatives on integration of other applications with Pega based application.
Managing systems Validation and defect resolution efforts.
The CSA also collaborates with project leadership and client management to manage the engagement direction, pinpoint and resolve high-level issues and develop staff and budget plans.
As such, the position requires not only technical prowess but also refined interpersonal and management skills.
Other Responsibilities:
Document and maintain project artifacts.
Suggest best practices, and implementation strategies using PEGA technology.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
