Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 13 months
Description:
A brief description of the project or initiative. Include:
Oracle Database Support – Support of Oracle databases for Project SBP18920, SBP18921, SBP18071, SBP18763, SBP18477.
Resource is required to provide database support of the listed projects in production and non-production environments.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
- At least five years experience supporting the development of applications on distributed platforms such as Oracle 12c and above on RHEL OS platform and in cloud.
- Experience with Oracle RAC version 12c, Oracle Streams, Data Guard
- Experience with Oracle version 12c above.
Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 5 years experience as an Oracle DBA
- Experience in supporting Oracle databases in non-production and Production environments
- Knowledge of computer languages, specifically SQL, PL/SQL, ability to develop procedures and guidelines for usage of software packages related to database administration, ability to accept and learn new technology as it relates to database administration
- Must have basic analytical skills necessary to resolve problems
- Interpersonal skills, communications skills, and problem solving skills
- Bachelors degree with five years experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience on DB2-LUW database administration activities
- MongDB NoSQL database administration
- Database administration experience of SQL Server 2016 and above are preferred
- Experience in supporting Oracle databases in cloud for PaaS and IaaS modes.
Education/Certifications – Include:
Bachelors degree with five years experience in Computer Science or related field preferred
