Job Description :
Oracle DBA – Dallas TX – 12 months

Interview: Onsite
FRIDAY- 11am and 12pm. MONDAY at 2pm or 3pm. ONSITE ONLY – NO SKYPE.

Job Qualifications:
8+ years as an Oracle DBA
Strong knowledge/expertise in Oracle 12c, especially with version 12.2, and ability to do following work:
"80% - implement, configure, fine-tune Oracle 12.2 as a parallel build to current 12c environment - we have many different applications that use Oracle that have custom integrations, so getting to 12.2 in Dev, QA, and finally PRD will be a multi-person, multi-month initiative. 12.1 to 12.2 upgrade activities, including but not limited to developing and documenting upgrade process.
20% - operations / KTLO ("keep the lights on") work as required – this could be anything from fine-tuning queries, to granting access, to troubleshooting application-specific Oracle failures with folks from the apps team, etc, etc. Patching existing 12.1 Oracle databases and RAC (Oracle Real Application Clusters) clusterware, assist with database refreshes and on-going Oracle DB issues."
Good knowledge in RMAN (Oracle Recovery Manager)
Strong communication skills; culture fit is important too
