F5 BIG-IP (F5-CA Certification HUGE PLUS) - This is a blend of software and hardware that''s a load balancer and a full proxy. It gives you the ability to control the traffic that passes through your network, optimizing performance.
Data Center knowledge/experience – They have a data warehouse in Sterling and a miniature one on site in DC. Need to be comfortable working with Servers and know how to support the Data Center should there be issues. Might have to work with team onsite in Sterling for emergency situations.
AWS – Configuring, Networking, domain managing.

Job Summary:
The Network Infrastructure Team Lead serves as the lead resource for the client’s network and infrastructure operations. S/he provides leadership to the Network team to ensure a high performance, responsive and client-focused team. The Lead fosters an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness and diversity through leadership, communications, and demonstrated behaviors. S/he participates as a member of the IT Operations leadership team, facilitates a culture of continuous improvement and collaborates effectively within and across IT and business teams. The Lead contributes to the hiring, mentoring, performance management and retention of staff. S/he recommends technical staff assignments to complete support and project tasks, and verifies quality of the overall work products.

How will you make an impact?
Provides subject matter expert level advice to assist management in aligning operational support with Enterprise roadmap, including coordination of software, hardware, code and firmware updates to enterprise systems
Provides recommendations and operational requirements for network and enterprise components.
Ensures a high performance, responsive and client-focused team
Fosters an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness and diversity through leadership, communications, and demonstrated behaviors
Facilitates a culture of continuous improvement and collaborates effectively within and across IT and business teams
Contributes to the hiring, mentoring, performance management and retention of staff
Recommends and schedules technical staff assignments to complete support and project tasks, and verifies quality of the overall work products
Serves as backup for Infrastructure Services Manager as needed
Monitors, identifies and analyzes problems with network and core services, middleware and operating systems; delivers timely resolution and document troubleshooting procedures in order to mitigate impact of issues and improve infrastructure performance
Performs incident response tasks and services restoration
Provides on-call support as needed
Performs a variety of Network Administrative activities to successfully complete a range of service requests including, but not limited to, war room support, technical support to other groups
Applies system patches, security patches and third party updates in order to maintain systems at a high level of performance, availability and security
Closes service requests in timely manner.

What you’ll bring to the role:
8 Years of Related Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Current VMware (VCP), Cisco (CCNA), F5 BIG-IP (F5-CA) required
Red Hat (RHCP), Microsoft (MCSA), ITIL Foundation, Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Experience with developing network roadmaps and WAN optimizations
Experience with AWS, Azure, DevOps and/or Agile is a huge,
