Required Skills:
- Strong abilities in troubleshooting methodologies to isolate and identify configuration, design, and hardware anomalies; ability to clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with engineering staff
- Strong understanding of network concepts and practices
- Advanced routing protocols and switching
- Potential network infrastructures
- Strong understanding of load balancer/application delivery controller devices and configurations, specifically f5 LTM and GTM
- Proven ability in monitoring tools and concepts,
- Familiarity with firewalls and enterprise security measures
- Comfortable and utilizing network access and management tools
Required Background
- More than three to five years of experience within a NOC, IT, or ISP environment supporting networks and networking equipment
- CCNA or equivalent certification
