Client: Renew Financial
Role: Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Portland, Oregon
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Required skills:
· 5+ years of experience with Ruby and other dynamic languages, web applications, and relational databases
· A strong understanding of standard libraries in your primary language, object oriented design principles, and database schema design
· Experience creating, testing, supporting, and interacting with REST APIs
· Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology and process
· We primarily use Ruby and Postgres on Linux; hosted in AWS
· Strong Git experience
· Ability to take ownership of large projects with many components
· Experience with designing technical plan to implement major product initiatives
· Expertise in design, develop and monitor platform-as-a-service providers such as AWS
· Bachelor''s in Computer Science or a related field (STEM) degree preferred
