Job Description:

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks contract resources to perform duties in the role of MDM Administrator to manage the functionality and efficiency of virtual enterprise workstations and virtual host platforms. Duties include designing new VDI and desktop solutions, installing new software, troubleshooting, performing VDI and applications migrations, and training users. This role will also be responsible for configuring secure Workspace for iOS and Android devices, configuring activation settings, activating iOS devices that uses MDM and Workspace, enabling Windows single sign-on, obtaining information from the dashboard, controlling devices using IT administration commands, and managing auditing as required.

This role will participate in rotating shifts in order to provide 24 hour support for users statewide.


Skill Required / Desired
Experience designing, deploying, managing, and configuring virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 7 and 10 with Microsoft SCCM. Required

Experience with VMWare virtualization solutions using ESX 5.5 and newer. Required
Experience with enterprise desktop deployments and management, including application package development and enterprise system refreshes. Required
Knowledge of Windows Desktop, including 7and10 with Server, including 2012, 2012R2, and 2016 operating systems Required
Knowledge of VMWare virtualization solutions, and Citrix capabilities. Required
Ability to create and manage profiles, create and manage IT policies, manage apps and create compliance rules. Required
Understanding of the difference between directory users and local users, and ability to export a filtered list of users. Required
Knowledge of and experience with Network Operating Systems, Office 365 Administration, telecommunication systems, and client applications. Required
Experience Supporting Data Encryption (BitLocker) Required
Ability to communicate moderately difficult technical matters to internal customers. Required
Experience with Office 365 and MDM Integration. Required
Position requires participation in rotating shifts for 24 hour support for users. Required
