Job Description :
Position: Middleware Engineer
Duration: Glendale, AZ
Fulltime/ Permanent

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration and administration of IBM WebSphere MQ on Linux and Windows.
Install and configure High Availability of MQ queue managers.
Veritas knowledge preferred.
Build and run scripts to perform Queue Manager backup and recovery in LINUX and Windows.
Perform upgrades and installation of fix packs.

Skills:
Support and troubleshoot issues with Websphere MQ on standalone and high availability environments.
Knowledge of IBM''s support process. Experience working in a cross-functional team to support application developers and other operational teams. WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat and IBM DataPower knowledge preferred.
Experience in Automation using shell scripting and Ansible to build self-service capabilities for application teams.
Experience in using monitoring tools to monitor IBM WebSphere MQ.
