Roles of PM :

We require a Project Manager to be responsible to develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with the project team and business stakeholders.
Ensure the project remains on time and on budget and help to motivate team members to meet their project goals.
Ensure that each project is compliant with IT Project methodology.
Act as a liaison between the project team and business leaders as required to clarify specific requirements of the project.
Prepare and present progress reports and ensure the project is meeting short- and long-term goals.
The start date for this role is early May 2019. It is important that the Project Manager has time to learn the IT Project Methodology and be introduced to the Engineering Project Management (new construction) process.
We are looking for someone who is available for a minimum of a 2-year term.

We’re hiring a self-motivated Project Manager who will work directly with business teams to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture and who will enjoy working with other professionals who believe in creating innovative solutions to problems.

The right candidate will have over 5+ years of Project Management experience in managing complex business projects that cross multiple IT Domains, e.g. Infrastructure, Application and End User Services. PMP Certification is required.

Project Manager duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Proven skills in managing technical teams from multiple vendors;
Proven skills in managing virtual teams;
Strong leadership and people management skills;
Demonstrated ability to establish effective business relationships;
Strong cultural awareness;
Excellent communication skills;
Advanced time management and analytical skills including budget and schedule management;
Identify project risks and effectively apply the escalate process as needed;
Effectively manage project communications to stakeholders, e.g. status, issues;
Tracking task owner percentage complete against assigned tasks;
Tracking hours/level of effort for personnel assigned to project/program;
Tracking administrative processes including, quote requests, purchase orders, etc.;
Scheduling and coordinating conference calls, including telepresence sessions, etc., in accordance with the agreed project operating rhythms and communications plan;
Properly maintain all project documentation;
Maintain detailed project plan by workstream;
Responsible to track project changes and produce updated schedules as agreed with stakeholders;
Ensure coordination with other departments;
Ensure adherence to deadlines;
Prepare and present progress reports and ensure the project is meeting organizational goals.
