Overview
As the Manager of Applications, you will be responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance and development of over 100 applications that are integral to St. Jude’s administrative, financial and campus operations departments. The position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise.  The position will allow you to be involved in managing a large portfolio of projects including key strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will need to be able to gain rapport with key department leaders, able to multitask, have knowledge of large ERP systems (Infor Lawson, Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc) and solve critical problems.   
Responsibilities

Responsible for overall support and customer satisfaction for administrative and financial systems.
Accountable for the coordination of administrative and financial information systems and projects, including management and evaluation of staff and resource utilization.
Work collaboratively with system users and technical resources.
Participate and lead in the requirements, implementation, evaluation and ongoing first line support of administrative and financial systems.
Remain current in administrative and financial practices through ongoing educational and informal relationships, and incorporates this knowledge into system planning and deployment.
Responsible for integration of systems across departmental boundaries to ensure solutions are consistent with the broader goals and objectives of the overall institution
Responsible for appropriate staffing, staff management, performance management, and continuous service improvement

Minimum Education

Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Administrative/Financial specialty, or related area is required
Masters degree is preferred

Minimum Experience

Minimum eight (8) years progressive experience in IT or administrative or financial area including five (5) years of IT experience and three (3) years of IT supervision required
Experience with managing and supporting large, complex, integrated administrative and/or financial applications required.
Experience with project management involving large, complex application implementations or upgrades.
Hospital Information System experience preferred
