Job Description :
Requires a minimum of four to six years’ experience administering DB2 in an enterprise environment. Requires experience with DB2 Connect.
Requires a thorough knowledge of DB2 in OS/390 and LUW environments. Requires knowledge of SQL, DB2 Interactive, JCL, DB2 Utilities, FILE-AID for DB2, COBOL, VSAM, Relational Theory
Requires good oral and written communications skills in order to communicate with management, staff, and users and data base personnel from other companies.
Must be able to effectively utilize video display terminal and other related equipment required to complete essential job functions.
Requires knowledge of the insurance business is desirable but may be acquired.
Requires knowledge of DB2 Catalog Manager, Change Manager, and BMC Mainview and other tools for DB2
