Position: Linux Admin
Location: Reston ,VA
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
9-11 years of experience with the administration of Linux based Systems, including Linux configuration/installation/ maintenance knowledge
Solution and designing medium & large scale environments
Administering Postfix, Send mail, Instances.
Installing and maintaining Open Source based Tech Stack in production environments
Performing OS and application up-grades on existing systems
24X7 automated Site monitoring for Performance & high availability
Capacity Planning & Hardware Sizing
Proficient with UNIX Scripting languages like Perl, UNIX Shell, AWK, etc.
Excellent Knowledge and experience with Redhat or CentOS Linux
Good knowledge of Apache and Tomcat
Good Knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking and VPN is desirable
Good knowledge of Linux, Shell or Bash Script
Good knowledge Of MySQL Database
Solid troubleshooting skills,
Knowledge of version, revision control, & change management practices and procedures
Graduate with RHCE certification
Proficient in English with good communication skills
Ready to work in 24X7 environments
Candidate must be willing to travel between Datacenters in different locations within US
Candidate should be prepared to travel to India for Knowledge Transfer and Trainings as the situation may demand
Candidate should be ready for call of duty beyond the standard 9x5 working hours based on operational demands
