Job Description:
Hands-on experience in supporting complex 24x7 infrastructure systems and interconnected technologies that require day-to-day support and administration in order to maintain optimum performance and utilization.
Hands on experience in EMC Storage technologies such as VMAX3, VMAX3AFA, Isilon, ECS, XtremeIO, SnapVX, AppSynch, TimeFinder, SRDF, Celerra, Unisphere and Cisco/Brocade storage directors.
Knowledge of Linux is preferable.
Proven experience in supporting Highly Available Storage solution.
Provide production support for the Enterprise Storage systems.
Good troubleshooting skills with knowledge of key systems.
Address incidents/problem tickets within a timely manner.
Participates in incident analysis and provide root cause updates to management; Analysis and resolution of reoccurring incidents, implements and provide proactive monitoring/analysis to help preventing problems before they occur.
Provide project support for distributed infrastructure, preferably worked in Storage Migration, DC Exit, OS Migration, etc.
Generating reports for client like Availability Matrix, System load and utilization report.
ITIL processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management and Change Management.
Good in communication and in Client Interaction.
Liaise with vendors to analyze crash dumps, or infrastructure problems.
Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting
Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.
