Position: Linux Administrator
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
We are looking to have RHEL System Administrators with 10+ years of overall
experience to support our production and non-production servers.
Here is a list of skills and other requirements we are looking for.
- Experience with installing RHEL 7.
- Build and Monitor production/non-production servers.
- Experience with Linux scripting languages - SHELL and Python.
- Good knowledge of networking protocols - TCP,SNMP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP.
- Experience with Server Virtualization - VMware, ESXi, VCenter, Vsphere, V=
Motion and Cloudforms.
- Proficiency with Linux System Administration - Create users, groups and s=
udo perms, creating mountpoints, starting and enabling services, NTP, Linux=
performance and tuning, SELinux.
- Strong skills with network tools like IPtables, firewalld, HAProxy.
- Working with Storage -SAN and NAS.
- Working constantly with security teams to mitigate OS level security issu=
es.
- Experience with configuring Active Directory services, LDAP.
- Emergency and scheduled server OS patching maintenance.
- Proficient with backup and recovery of filesystems and data in case of VM=
/Blade failure.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Mesos and Containers.
- Familiarity with networking components like firewall, TCP/IP, switching/r=
outing configuration, Enclosure management, port management, load balancers=
- Experience with Config management and DevOps tools like - Ansible, Puppet=
and Chef.
- Willingness to be on-call to support 24x7.
