Job Description:

Primary - Linux, AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, SNS, RDS, IAM, DynamoDB, MySQL), Prod support experience, SQL,

Secondary Skills - Scala, java, terraform, Jenkins deployment

Python programming is added advantage

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Basic ideas in DEVOPS Tools (Chef/ansible)

Installing, managing, monitoring Hadoop cluster.

Installation and configuration of Hive megastore, HBase, Oozie.

Configuration on Management Automation tool chef.

Installation and configuration of Apache.

Installation of packages using rpm and yum.

Disk management using LVM.

Linux Patching using YUM repository.

Firmware upgrade like HBA, HDD, NIC, BIOS.

Troubleshooting Boot related issues

Determining the Root cause by analyzing the logs of both Apache and Tomcat services.

Installation and Configuring DNS, Primary and Secondary Server.

Configuring Nagios for services and system state of servers to get monitored.
