Role: Lead Support Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 12 Months
Experience Range 8-10 years
Technical Skills
1. Rich hands-on experience in Big Data Analytics specifically working on Cloud
platforms like AWS and having worked on Data Lake applications.
2. Strong exposure to handling various data sources for ingestion – both of the
structured and unstructured type.
3. Exposure on Big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive or similar is demanded.
4. Very strong database background with hand-on exposure on traditional RDBMS
tools and a strong SQL programming experience. Preferred to have exposure on
RDBMS like Oracle, MSSQL Server, IBM DB2, MySQL or Postgres SQL (any 1 of
any of the above
5. Very strong understanding of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, QlikSense
etc. (1 or many of the above
Customer engagement skills
1. Should have led team of engineers on projects / programs with a strong focus on
customer engagement. Must have the ability to engage customers especially from
the Business and IT knowledge areas to understand and articulate further
business requirements and convert these to specifications.
2. Liaise as a single point of contact with end-user community to understand the
nature of the support tickets (L1/L2) and possibly L3 and be able to assign priority
for ticket resolution. Must have worked in production support environment and
comfortable with tools like Jira that could be used by customer for raising
support queries.
3. Communicate, coordinate and collaborate with offshore counterpart and extended
team in Pune, India to ensure speedy resolution of the support tickets and
communicate and handle customer expectations.
4. Strong in business communication – both verbal and written and should have the
Ability to represent organization in all stakeholder discussions.
