Jr-Sr Splunk Engineer Enterprise Security App AWS Position Description
?The client has an immediate need for a Jr-Senior level Splunk Engineers with Enterprise Security App on AWS experience to join our financial services team in Reston, VA.
Duties and responsibilities
Duties will consist of rolling Splunk out at an enterprise level in a phase manner by:
Providing strategic support of Splunk integration and deployment, configuration and maintenance
Understanding, interpreting and developing client requirements
Assisting in the proper operation and performance of Splunk, Loggers and connectors
Integrating data feeds (logs) into Splunk.
Providing recommendations and implementing changes to optimize Splunk in client environment
Writing and developing custom scripts, programs as needed
Required qualifications:
1-3 years of Splunk Engineer experience (Jr cert required
3 -7 years Splunk Engineer experience (Mid) cert required
7-10 years Splunk Engineer experience (Sr no cert required- Must be Highly experienced
Splunk with 4+ years of IT Service Intelligence App
Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin required
AWS experience
Exposure to Linux/Windows
Good experience in application develop; Splunk as part of application development
Good written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
