Title: Java Backend Developers (8 roles)
Location : Cincinnati OH
Duration: 8-10 months with high visibility for extension
Must have skills
Required:
Experience with a messaging service bus tool. Preference towards RabbitMQ, Kafka, ServiceMix
o I can potentially consider a candidate that doesn’t have this, but if they don’t know how to develop an SOA or work with ESB then it’s not worth considering.
o Amazon SQS qualifies here as well, as long as they have experience with doing Java development using this service.
o If not RabbitMQ, I need to know what *MQ experience they have. MQ = messaging queuing, and it was clear this is a key component to all three roles.
Experience with back-end or full-stack Java development. 3 – 8 years of experience preferred. Err on more experience vs. less.
o Experience with JMS, JAX-WS, Spring, or extensive SOAP, Java containers, or OSGi can work in lieu of the experience requirements.
Front end experience. Specifically AngularJS
o Python is needed for two of the roles.
o Experience with rapid data streaming onto a website or web device is a big plus
NoSQL DB experience. Cassandra preferred, but others like Dynamo, DDB, Cosmos, are fine as well
o This is a developer role, so DBA’s aren’t what we need. Focus on querying and streaming specifically, the development side of it.
Communication Skills
o Someone with an engineering background is preferred. Have to be able to communicate with mechanical engineers
o Ability to communicate effectively with teams based in Turkey.
o Basic PM skills and project planning required.
