Job Description:
Project Management – Experience with “waterfall” approach
Familiarity with SDLC processes.
Communication skills - Strong verbal & written skills. Communications are complete and understandable with appropriate tone and delivery. Able to effectively communicate with individuals in other departments and regions at both peer and higher levels.
Appropriate level of attention to big picture and detail, as required.
Independence – Able to step into unfamiliar situations and take action. Needs only general direction at the start of a task to perform job duties.
Quality - Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience & judgment.
Other Skills: Phone usage and phone communications skills.
Tele-conference and web-conference skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related business field
Experience: 3 Years IT Project Management Experience, at least some in a “waterfall” environment
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: PMP certification
Skills/Competencies: Tech Proficiency – Efficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Powerpoint; Ability to learn other processes and systems quickly.
