Overall 6+ years of professional IT experience
A minimum of 5 years software development and requirement analysis, design experience
A minimum 1-2 years of experience in IBM Data Power Development
Development experience for projects delivered via Waterfall, Agile, and/or XP methodologies
A minimum of 1 year successfully working in IT projects in an Agile development methodology
Proven experience as a software Designer and Developer in understanding business requirements and translating into software solutions
Proficient in implementing Service & Protocol Mediation, Service Orchestration, Transport and Message level Security on IBM Data power XI52 Integration Appliance
Working knowledge on SSL certificates implementation
Strong knowledge of XML and related technologies like XSL, XPath, XQuery
Experience in Design multiple services based on different standards for REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs)
Develop and Troubleshoot message translation related issues while communicating with backend (JSON to SOAP / SOAP to JSON
Experience working with SOAP/REST based Web Services.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of build/dependency management tools such as Maven, SCM (Subversion, GIT)
Solid understanding of J2EE application deployment patterns and n-tier architectures Java/J2EE coding experience, along with XSLT and complex/reusable application architectures
Strong UNIX/LINUX experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Technical field or comparable work experience required
Master’s in Computer Science related program preferred
