High Level Job Description
AgFirst is looking for a contract Hyperion Cube Developer that is an expert in Hyperion Workforce Planning, Budgeting and Administration. We’re seeking a well-rounded candidate that can interactively work with the business to contribute to and refine the requirements and then implement the solution. Candidate will work with a team of 10 developers, DBA’s and BA’s for a large Data Warehouse project to primarily design new cubes but also in some cases develop processes and reports and provide cube enhancements and other related activities.
Minimal Job Skills Experience:
· 9+ years’ experience with Hyperion Workforce Planning, Budgeting and Administration modules
· 4+ years with SQL Server (2017, 2016, 2012, 2008)
· Solid Data Modeling, Cube Design skills including developing/maintaining ASO and BSO cubes
· Solid experience with data integration and problem solving
· Experience in creating business rules and calculation scripts
· Should be highly proficient with MAXL scripting
· Ability to develop and maintain Smart View ad-hoc reports
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Must have an solid understanding of business processes and system interdependencies
· Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English both written & verbal
· Proficient with understanding business requirements and in some cases act as a BA
· Promote and demonstrate effective teamwork in an Agile team setting
· Must be results-oriented and able to manage time appropriately in order to meet assigned goals
· Ability to analyze and estimate system requirements, develop alternatives, and implement solutions
· Must have an solid understanding of computer systems including hardware, operating systems, programming languages
· Candidate must demonstrate sounds principles with software architecture, design, implementation and support for RASP (Reliable, Available, Secure and highly Performing) solutions
