Infrastructure Analyst

Experience in Hadoop administration
Experience using Shell, Python or other object oriented language for scripting needs
Experience in supporting OR developing Kafka, Flume, Parquet, Avro, Data Compression, Sqoop, Hbase, Solr, Hive, Impala, CDH
* Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS Operating System, tools, command lines and structures

Preferred Technology Experience - 3-5 yrs. of hands on experience in the following technologies:
Experience in using Shell, Python or other object oriented language for scripting needs Experience in supporting OR developing Kafka, Flume, Parquet, Avro, Data Compression, Sqoop, Hbase, Solr, Hive, Impala, CDH
Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS Operating System, tools, command lines and structures Experience with product ownership and applying product lifecycle practices
Experience with development lifecycle including quality assurance, code management, and code deployment tools Experience with translating requirements into working prototypes and use of iterative development practices
Knowledge of clustered computing and resource impacts of different processing types
Basic understanding of security protocols (i.e. Kerberos)
Basic understanding of network technologies (i.e. data traffic)
Basic understanding of complex and distributed data and database management
Duties include working service tickets, code maintenance, Hadoop ecosystem tool configuration/maintenance/analysis/testing
Additional Information:
Work Environment: -This is a standard 38.75 hours/week contracting role from Monday to Friday either 7 - 3pm or 8 - 4pm.
