Job Description :
Title: Functional Tester
Location : Maclenville, NC
Duration: 12+Months


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Identify, plan and execute testing activities in Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high quality software and ensure compliance according to regulatory statues, policies and procedures.
Test Web Application software, including Java and .Net. based applications
Perform black and white-box tests. Create and maintain test plans, cases and summaries.
Write and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts. Manage test data and perform data analysis.
Define, maintain and organize input and output data.
Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to the Scrum Master, QA lead or Project Manager. Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria. Provide work estimates for testing activities.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of QA test environment and tools.
Collect and report on quality statistics and metrics.
Record and monitor discovered defects and QA related issues.
Strong hands on experience of mainframe technologies CICS/JCL/DB2
Strong in functional testing, knowledge on any one common bug reporting tools,Test data preparation, Test execution.
Must be able to create Test strategy , Test plans.
Strong knowledge on UAT testing, Experience working with Customer directly. Should be able to Understand the the business logic quickly.
Proficient on Working with Excel/ Excel macros other Microsoft tools
Frontend billing application knowledge/Healthcare billing and insurance domain knowledge is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills, Good interpersonal skills.
Good presentation skills ( for test report walk-through with client after testing
