Job Title: Full Stack Development Engineer
Duration: 06+ Months
Location: Champaign, IL
Responsibilities:
· Work with program managers and technical staffs and understand the specifications of each project in terms of its public exposure, audiences and internal documentation needs.
· Assist with designs of both backend and frontend visual representations for desired programs/applications, including but not limited to web app, mobile app and desktop app.
· Implement both backend and frontend designs using appropriate languages and tools.
· Assist various teams in building technical documentation in wiki-style infrastructure and templates for internal communications.
Requirements
· M.S. or B.S. in computer science and related fields, M.S. preferred.
· Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving.
· Proficiency in developing objected-oriented software with deep experience in one or more modern programming language (Java, C++, or Python
· Full stack experience, both front-end and back-end (Java, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, node.js)
· Proficiency in at least one front-end web development framework such as React, Angular, Rails, Django, Vue.js
· Experience with HTTP APIs and RESTful web services.
· Experience using RDBMS such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including writing SQL queries.
Nice to haves:
· Experience with HTTP/2, PWA, Serverless, Microservices, CI/CD, and cross-platform development.
· Experience with distributed databases such as MongoDB, NoSQL.
