U.S. Bank is seeking a Front End, React.JS, Developer with design, development, testing, and deployment experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
The Integrated Card Systems team provides application development services for the Retail Payment Services division of U.S. Bank. Successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for definition, design, and development of Digital channels solutions for the web marketing, acquisition and customer service channels.
Successful candidates will be results-driven, self-starters who welcome a challenge and related accountability.
They will possess the ability to multi-task, and a passion for developing world class applications.
They will possess an enthusiasm for working with a great team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
They will have strong written, oral communication skills, and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Develops new and maintains existing user-facing features using React.js
Builds reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Conducts thorough impact analysis and completes accurate technical design prior to the development and implementation of new or changed applications
Translates designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimizes components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Evaluates the operating efficiency of existing applications and occasionally assists with production support.

Successful candidates will serve as senior level developer, contributing to all facets of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and will occasionally lead others on assigned projects and tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree, or equivalent work experience
At least five years of experience with developing and implementing applications
Required Skills:
React
Redux
Preferred Skills/Experience
4-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
5 years of Web Development skills
3 years of focus on Front-End Development
2 years of experience using REACT
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Experience with data structure libraries
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Familiarity with current front-end build pipelines and tools
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
