*URGENT REQUIREMENT
Title: STB Tester
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Irving, TX
Key Responsibilities/ Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
· At least 4 years of experience in manual testing - strategy, design, execution analysis and reporting of Set Top Box.
· Experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Reports, Test plans, Test closure reports.
· Knowledge of back end services for a Set Top Box.
· Knowledge of Video delivery in Cable industry.
· Knowledge of the features like VOD, DVR or Pay per View.
· Experience in Log analysis and Splunk is a plus.
· Basic understanding about micro services and REST APIs is a plus.
· Experience in ticketing systems (like Jira) and triaging tickets/ issues.
· Experience in feature/performance issues and resolution with development teams.
· Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
· Strong co-ordination communication and analytical skills.
· Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment with offshore coordination
· Knowledge of Programing language for Test Automation (preferably Python
· Experience in working with Backend database like MS SQL, Oracle.
