Job Description
Client is currently seeking a Software Test Contractor, to join our telemetry team located in Jackson, MN. The Telemetry Software Test Contractor will be responsible for working with the on-site development team to understand the current requirements, then writing and maintain tests to ensure full requirements coverage. Additionally the Software Test Contractor will be responsible for helping to automated test cases against the Telemetry device’s local RESTful API. The telemetry device is a linux based embedded system, connected to vehicle CANbuses.

The Telemetry Software Test Contractor will test these products in a lab type environment, and potentially on physical agricultural machinery.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Read and understand software and project requirements in Polarion.
Write tests to cover requirements, in Polarion.
Work with development team to perform requirements analysis/coverage analysis.
Run test case review meetings with development team.
Run test cases.
Track test case progress and results.

Qualifications:
Deep experience writing and running test cases for embedded systems
Experience with embedded linux systems
Experience with CAN and J1939
Experience with telemetry or IoT systems
Experience in performing and auctioning upon gap analysis
Experience with CAN related tools such as VECTOR toolchain.
Experience with Agricultural machinery or similar.
