Position: ETL developer
Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Duration: Long Term
Job description:
Work with business analyst to understand the requirements and Create design documents.
Design the tables and other objects in Oracle.
Implement partition and sub-partition for performance improvement.
Develop ETL using Data Migrator/Informatica to generate Statistical filing and reports.
Develop ETL using PL/SQL packages and procedures and triggers.
Troubleshoot existing ETL developed in Data Migrator and Oracle PL SQL Packages and Procedures
Performance tune using ETLs.
Compare the filing files with Mainframe filing files Generate difference reports.
Work with Analyst to resolve the differences.
Required Skills:
Experience in ETL development (Data Migrator or Informatica or SSIS) - Data Migrator is preferred
Experience in Oracle PL/SQL Packages and Procedures
Experience using partitions and sub-partitions
Experience in working on huge volume of data
Experience in performance turning ELS, queries, PL SQL packages and Procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Mainframe to trace through programs, Jobs, procedures to validate the result.
Experience in WebFocus reports
