Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Informatica ETL Developer for our direct client in Danville, PA. The ETL
Application Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of technical ETL solutions that connect various claims data systems to our SQL Server Data Warehouse. This role will leverage technical expertise in database applications, ETL processes, and automation in support of internal and external customer’s data exchange and integration needs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop complex data extracts, applications, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, SSIS, Informatica toolset (Power center , B2B with MFT)
· Requests include custom flat files, EDI, user applications, and a significant focus on healthcare encounters and
HIPAA X12 transactions: 837, 999, 277, 835
· Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery.
· Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions; ensure data
quality and match-back to core systems transaction results.
· Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes.
· Serve as mentoring resource for other developers.
· Support goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 4+ years as an ETL Developer or equivalent implementing technical solutions (extracts, middleware, stored
procedures, EDI, ETL packages
· Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL (T-SQL) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and
Informatica.
· 3+ years’ experience with Informatica B2B Data Transformation, B2B Data Exchange, and PowerCenter.
