Job Description:
BIPM : Informatica Powercentre, PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2012 Development
Minimum 7-10 years of industry experience in ETL design and development using Powercenter Informatica.
Must have full lifecycle project experience as a developer in designing and developing Informatica mappings.
Design and development of ETL solutions for complex business problems to load Data Warehouse/Data Marts.
Data Modeling skills preferred.
Deep understanding of Database SQL and PL/SQL concepts, standards and best practices
Role Description:
Capture new ETL requirements or changed requirements to load Data Marts and estimate the level of effort to implement enhancements
Develop/Modify the ETL design, manage ETL development activities from inception to completion including interdependencies with other teams
Design and create the database tables as per requirements
Analyze requirements and formulate an appropriate technical solution that meets functional and non-functional requirements;
Take an active role in the cross-functional design and coordinate with offshore ETL team throughout
Work closely and foster strong relationships with data architecture team, database administration and data consumers (e.g., reporting and interfaces teams) to design warehouse/BI data structures
Design and Develop the PL/SQL routines and unix shell scripts as per requirements.
Assist in the design of the ETL solution; review the ETL low-level design and design phase deliverables;
Manage the build phase and quality-assure the code to ensure that it meets requirements and adheres to standards; resolve difficult design and build issues; troubleshoot bugs• Develop mappings to implement complex business logic, transformations and aggregations
Plan and execute Quality Assurance testing with the QA team and resolve QA defects
Plan and manage QA and Production releases and ensure they are deployed smoothly
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverable
Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes
