Short Description:
DHS is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Open Text Content Server/AppWorks Developer to join the Application Support Team.
Complete Description:
The CS Developer will be an integral part of the support and development team responsible for the production of high-level functional requirements and translating these into features within existing products as well as supporting the businesses OpenText installation.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Content Server/AppWorks developer with a strong grounding in .Net and OpenText Web Services technologies.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Possess excellent knowledge and experience of OpenText''s Content Server v16+.
Strong experience with the Content Server REST APIs and the AppWorks framework.
Have knowledge and experience of customization of the Content Server.
Have a good understanding of Java and .Net Framework technologies.
Demonstrable experience and skills of using OScript, WebLingo and the Builder.
Have practical experience of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management and Taxonomies.
Knowledge and experience of maintaining users, groups, permissions, security and system configurations within Content Server environments.
Customization using Content Server Application Programming Interface (LAPI), Web Services, AppWorks framework and using the Builder.
Assist, contribute and coordinate requirements and design discussions with other development teams to facilitate the conversion of existing legacy applications (Global 360 and OnBase)
Crosstrain other developers in the OpenText Content Server APIs and AppWorks framework
Share OpenText coding best practices with other development teams
Be familiar with MS SQL Server scripting.
Accomplish testing of the application, including executing tests, logging faults, and fault correction.
Have the ability to proactively monitor and report on the file system, storage and indexes.
Be able to read and interpret existing .NET code and have the ability to develop custom scripts to further improve the Content Server installation.
Deliver projects within time and budget constraints whilst maintaining a strong eye for detail.
Customization of Enterprise Scan and OpenText Capture Center
Configuration and maintenance of OpenText InfoFusion to synchronize data with other Enterprise systems

OpenText Certifications (Content Server Solution Developer v16+ or similar
Experience in Content Server Customizations using VB or CNet and/or Java
Experience in upgrading and patching Content Server installations
OpenText Capture Center, Enterprise Scan, Object Importer, Rightfax, Brava, Transformation Server, InfoFusion)
Skill Required:
