Job Description :
Overview
The St. Jude Disaster Recovery Coordinator works collaboratively across Information Services teams and the St. Jude institution to create an effective, organization-wide disaster recovery program for services and technologies used at St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital. The individual in this leadership role plans and manages the overall DR Program, chairs a steering committee, and influences management priorities.  They also ensure the creation and maintenance of recovery plans, standards, best practices, and procedures to ensure the sustained operations of St. Jude in the event of critical loss of part or all of the institution''s ability to operate. The DR Coordinator will ensure that strategies are in place and resources are trained to support business continuity and contingency planning in the event of a natural disaster, technology failure, sabotage, or other catastrophic event that causes a critical loss of part or all of the hospital''s capacity to operate. Insightful ability to assess systems, storage and / or network architectures, identify vulnerabilities and provide migration paths to disaster tolerant solutions is important.
Minimum Education

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related field is required

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of progressive IT experience with three (3) years'' experience in disaster recovery/business continuity is required
Must have experience and demonstrated proficiency in DR/BC program execution, managing process change projects, and knowledge of the disaster recovery program lifecycle

Other Credentials

Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
