Role: Quality Engineering Lead (QE Lead)
The QE Lead will be responsible to work with DevOps Architect in establishing Quality Engineering Processes and Practices in Client Engineering teams to ensure
Automation is the way of life!
All the test scripts are automated in – sprint
All the existing test cases are automated and integrated with CI pipeline
QE and Dev teams work very closely in each sprint to eliminate any manual activity in the QA Practice
Requirements:
Works with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing
Align QA Practice with DevOps and defines the Automation strategy for the QA Team
Transforms QA (Quality Assurance Practice) to QE. (Quality Engineering Practice)
Involved in the review of the user story backlog and requirements specifications for completeness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security and compliance testing, and provides recommendation plans and defines testing approach, providing advice on prioritization of testing activity in support of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios
Develops test data strategy to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
Mentor the team members in adopting In Spring Automation, Framework changes and other process changes in Quality Engineering
Aligns Definition of DONE with overall Defintion of DONE
Integrates Functional and Non functional testing with CI Pipeline
Monitors and tracks resolution of defects
Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status and other key performance indicators of the test lifecycle
Recognizes opportunities to adopt creative testing technologies and techniques
Skill Set:
In Sprint Automation in .Net stack
Automation expert with C# Selenium
Automation experience in API, WEB and Mobile applications
Experience with Python, C#, Groovy scripting languages
Experience in setting up automation framework and mentoring the team members
Driving Automation of functional and non functional tests as part of CI pipeline
Adopt Development coding standards in Quality Engineering practice
Qualifications
Bachelor''s Degree; in computer science, software engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
8 -10 years of relevant work experience
5+ years of working hands on experience on automation of API, Web and Mobile
Ability to stay continuously informed on current leading-edge technologies industry trends
