Looking for good candidate and local candidate with any Visa.
Title: Software Build Consultant / DevOps
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Rate: $30/hr on C2C (need mid-level candidates) – Any visa is fine – try to submit local or near candidates
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities:
Create Microsoft VSTS build and deployment instance with necessary port numbers.
Deploy applications on Cloud platforms and virtual servers.
Create scripts using Shell and Perl for Corn and Batch jobs to automate day to day activities
Perform Code review for performance analysis and smoke testing
Support MS VSTS/Octopus Code deployment in all non-prod environments
Perform fail over and performance based analysis using various tools.
Provide support on infrastructure issues for the applications.
Conduct cross-functional training within the team and to the first level support Team
Coordinate with Shared Services to build Infrastructure for Hardware, VM''s, PCF, Database, Storage, Network Teams
Follow Agile methodologies for deployments.
Provide technical advice on the failover scenarios.
Work closely with Development, QA and Change Management team.
Resolve day-to-day non production environment issues and support ongoing project work.
Experience in SSRS and SSIS packages build/deployment
Hands on experience working with SQL server, (Store Proc, Jobs etc)
Required skills:
Microsoft Visual Studio (4-5 yrs. exp)
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (4 Yrs. exp)
Microsoft SQL server 2015 or newer version (3 yrs. exp)
Build and Deployment using MS VSTS and octopus (4 yrs. exp)
Redgate Readyroll experience
Solid Communication skill
