Contract to permanent

Responsibilities:
· Automate the building of CI/CD Pipelines, with deployment targets in AWS and Azure
· Embed with multiple software development teams to help them adopt the CI/CD platform
· Promote Cloud, Security and DevOps best practices and architectures
· Help to extend the CI/CD platform to support new tools and technologies to facilitate broader adoption of the CI/CD platform

Key Qualifications:
· 3+ years in Cloud software development (AWS & Azure are the preferred cloud environments), with a focus on Infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager or Terraform
· 5+ years in software development, with languages such as Java or NodeJS, and with test automation, such as JUnit or Mocha
· Ability to translate business requirements in to a solution architecture
· Ability to discuss and promote DevOps best practices
· Experience with Cloud networking, such as AWS VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancer, ASG, as well as cloud security, such as IAM
· Experience with Cloud data stores, such as DynamoDB, S3, Aurora or MongoDB
· Experience with log and metrics consolidation tools like New Relic, Logz.io or Splunk

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor''s degree or higher in CS, EE, IS, Math or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years in software development and/or systems administration
· Strong experience working on large cross-functional teams
· Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
· CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Gradle, Puppet or Chef
· Build languages such as Groovy, Python, Bash or PowerShell
· Artifact publishing tools such as Nexus, Docker Hub, or Jfrog
· Code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Aqua or Checkmarks
· Experience deploying applications in containers, such as Docker or Kubernetes, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service or Azure Kubernetes Service/Azure Container Registry
· Experience building proof-of-concepts to validate new tools and architectures
· Experience developing cloud solutions for scalability and elasticity balanced with cost
