Job Description :
Required skills - Chef, AWS, DevOps and CICD
Expert level (5+ Years) experience in writing and debugging Chef cookbooks across Unix and Windows platforms.
3+ years CI/CD based development.
Expert level experience in Github and Jenkins
Operating Systems Knowledge and understanding of Docker, Containers.
Must be able to structure, plan and execute strategic initiatives with the right project discipline
Ability to work effectively with virtual and remote team
Experience in system development utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or related methodologies
Strong Windows Administration knowledge is required
Role description -
Responsible for Developing and supporting Chef and entire CICD pipelines Scope includes:
Chef Infrastructure/Ruby scripting
Chef Automate pipeline
Chef Cookbooks Development and Remediate Chef Cookbooks
Enabling Guard condition on cookbooks
Maintaining Cookbooks in Github with proper approval
Develop Jenkins pipeline jobs and operating them with proper access control.
Integrate AWS services using Chef such as EC2, ECS
