Role Summary:

We are looking for a Desktop Support Associate to provide technical assistance to our users and clients. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase in user satisfaction.



What you’ll do:

· Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking

· Assisting with installing applications and computer peripherals

· Troubleshooting software, hardware, and cloud based services

· Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions

· Customize desktop applications to meet user needs

· Document common technical issues and solutions

· Help create technical documentation and manuals

· Assist with laboratory validation activities related to computer setup



What you have:

· Proven work experience in a technical support role (1-3 years)

· Hands-on experience with O365, Windows10, and Desktop imaging process

· Working knowledge of computer peripherals: printers, scanners, and phones

· Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs

· Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions

· Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

· Customer-oriented attitude

· Computer Science degree or comparable work experience is preferred
