Core Business Operations – Project Delivery Senior Analyst – Wildfly Admin

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Attends team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, work tasks, and issues
Provides primary on-call support on a rotational basis.
Completes specific team task activities as outlined in the project work plan and other job-related duties as assigned
Maintains close coordination with the Analysts at various geo locations with respect to the status of tickets, issues etc.
Creates and maintains regular status reports and provides verbal and written status to Project Managers, as required
Expected to be onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may exceed 40 hours per week depending on project needs.
Serves as the first level of escalation for critical tickets and/or customer concerns that the analysts are unable to address
Escalates risks/challenges to the Team Manager
Manage the workload among the analysts within the team
Guide/mentor the analysts in resolving tickets
Problem Determination on complex JAVA systems running on Wildfly, troubleshoot, issue identification, performance tuning related technologies skills
Manage the daily operation of Wildfly Application Server. Monitor resource utilization, including CPU, memory, and disk utilization. Report on system utilization and plan/implement recommended maintenance as required
Administered, configured, tuned, and troubleshoot Wildfly issues in a clustered environment
The Team
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with infrastructure/architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts. They leverage resources onshore and abroad to ensure projects are supported at all times.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience working with Wildfly, Http Servers
Problem Determination on complex JAVA systems running on Wildfly, troubleshoot, issue identification, performance tuning related technologies skills
Manage the daily operation of Wildfly Application Server. Monitor resource utilization, including CPU, memory, and disk utilization. Report on system utilization and plan/implement recommended maintenance as required
Administered, configured, tuned, and troubleshoot Wildfly issues in a clustered environment
Should have Linux/ Unix knowledge, good understanding the various linux kernel subsystems (memory, storage, network etc), DNS, TCP/ IP, Routing
Middleware experience in a Linux environment
Good understanding on Java VM. Configuration, performance issue analyses, monitoring
Experience in administration of Java based middleware servers. Such as Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat, WebSphere servers
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and innovative approach to finding resolutions
Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and will often be a direct liaison with other IS development and infrastructure teams. Strong analytical skills to analyze designs, develop and execute custom application features and functions
