Job Title: Data Engineer modeling/ Analytics and metrics analyst/developer

Duration: 6+ Months
Description Big Data - Data Engineer modeling/ Analytics and metrics analyst/developer.
8+ years experience with predictive and prescriptive analytics, metrics and business intelligence leading to customer insights to drive the business forward. Firm understanding of AI/ML data models and analytics and development of KPIs driving business decisions. Design, develop, analyze, and assess requirements thru implementation for insight and analytical solutions and metrics and insights.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Seven years experience in Metrics and Analytics solutions on Big Data architectures with design, development, and implementation of metrics solutions using Python, Sparc, Scala, UNIX scripting and data wrangling. Hadoop/Presto Teradata SQL and PostgreSQL. Excellent communication skills, and high energy resource required. Available to work out of hours as required to meet project deliverables.
DESIRED SKILLS:
UNIX/Linux - Data Warehousing Teradata SQL expertise Data profiling, Modeling, and Analytics skills (6+ years) Python expertise HADOOP/Presto expertise SPARC Postgres/SQL Data Warehousing and Big Data Analytics UNIX scripting/utility expertise to prepare data for data analytics and insights Excellent communication skills, high energy individual, and Teradata 15.10 SQL experience preferred. Knowledge and experience developing/implementing machine learning and analytics requirements.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
BS and preferably an MS in Mathematics/Statistics, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Out of hours and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
