The candidate needs to be detail oriented and process driven. Looking for a candidate that can apply good QA processes to different situations. Interfaces are tested source to target for all hops using DataStage or BizTalk.
All the possible data combinations are tested, not just the interface ran and something populated.
The QA Analyst will ensure adherence to Quality Systems Development Lifecycle Methodology and the Change Management Process for Software Development. It will review and assess test results to improve test conditions, recommend test automation tools, and test method process improvements. The primary focus of the position will be interfaces testing of DataStage, BizTalk with the validation being source to target validation. The validation of the interfaces includes most file formats, database tables and reporting UIs.
Assists the QA team in requirement analysis, test strategy and test plan creation in support of the overall IT development lifecycle, and as the person that is responsible for the maintaining the QA artifact repository.
Provides technical expertise and direction in analyzing business requirements and traceability interfacing with customers and the development team.

Perform validation of test results and provide QA signoff or rejection of IT changes during Unit testing, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Product Testing and End to End Testing. Report frequency and degree of code/logic errors to QA Manage
Project Planning and Management, level of effort analysis, and resource forecasting, QA test environment configuration-coordination & management, and Mentoring junior QA analysts and testers
* Includes direct supervision of assigned project as well as coordinating the activities of supporting team members (Enterprise Services Teams, Partners and External Vendors
Execute tests, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Product Testing, End to End Testing and Run SQL database queries, provide support of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post implementation activities.
Establish, maintain, and optimize relationships with resource and technology vendors and partners, aligning the overall utilization of their resources optimally to provide best total cost of ownership and return on investment.
Program in place to ease transition and ramp-up period, measure performance of resources, and quickly reacting to optimize as needed.
Provide support of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post implementation activities. Ensure the successful navigation, coordination and communication of development projects.
